Krista M. Carman

Krista graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1998 with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education.  She was a special education teacher for about a year and then left the field to study law.  She graduated from ASU with a J.D. in 2002 and was admitted to the  Arizona State Bar in January 2003.  Krista joined Warnock, MacKinlay & Carman, PLLC in 2003.  She has been practicing plaintiff's civil litigation since 2003. A majority of her practice is devoted to serious injury and wrongful death matters.  She has successfully litigated civil rights violations resulting in a wrongful death as well.

Krista also has represented individuals who have been discriminated in an employment situation or terminated wrongfully. She has litigated insurance coverage disputes in auto, home and general liability policies. She is admitted to both State and Federal Court in Arizona. She is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and Northern Arizona Women's Lawyers Association.  She also participates in the State Bar Fee Arbitration Committee and the State Bar Jury Instructions Committee.

Additionally, Krista works in the appellate section of the firm. She has successfully appealed a number of cases and participated in many oral arguments at the Arizona Court of Appeals.

Krista was born in New Brunswick, Canada but was raised in Mesa, Arizona.  She is married with four children. She enjoys traveling and camping with her family, being active outdoors and in the gym,  playing games and reading.
