John T. White

John is a Partner with the firm, with a primary practice focus in litigation and business solutions.  John began his training as a judicial extern in the United States District Court, District of Arizona, working for the Hon. Roslyn O. Silver.  Since then, he has gained extensive experience in complex litigation, including a wide array of commercial and business litigation, wrongful death, and civil rights, and has represented clients at all levels, ranging from arbitrations and trials to appeals before the Ninth Circuit.  In addition, John has developed an expertise in business solutions, helping to providing general counsel services for companies and assisting them in managing risk, assessing liability, and maintaining legal compliance.

In 2006, John was part of the litigation team that achieved a $9 million federal court verdict against the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and Maricopa County in a wrongful death case.

Since 2007, John has represented clients in jury trials in federal and state courts and has been part of litigation teams that have  helped clients recover millions of dollars in settlements and resolutions.  He has also successfully defended clients in a wide range of disputes and litigation involving business matters, in both pre-litigation and litigation.

John's litigation experience includes a variety of cases involving breach of contract and business tort claims, complex insurance disputes, civil rights, intellectual property, employment, claims under the Arizona Adult Protective Services Act, and wrongful death and catastrophic loss.

John's business solutions experience is broad based and includes a variety of general counsel services to companies doing business in Arizona, around the United States and internationally, including employment issues, mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence, business formation and planning, contract negotiation and review, and legal compliance.
