Kent MacKinlay is a partner in Warnock, MacKinlay and Carman. He is based in the firm's Mesa office, where he enjoys working with his son Jay.
He was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta, and his law degree from Duke University.
He practices primarily in the fields of civil litigation, bankruptcy, probate litigation and business and commercial law. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and before state and federal courts in Arizona.
Kent resides in Mesa. He has 5 children and 17 grand-children. He enjoys hiking and reading, and has a long-term goal to complete hiking the Appalachian Trial.
